Remove Duplicate Lines Without Cleaning Your List Manually

This free duplicate line remover helps you turn a messy text list into a clean set of unique lines. Paste your text, choose how duplicates should be detected, and remove repeated entries without checking the list line by line.

Use it for email addresses, URLs, SEO keywords, names, product SKUs, IDs, tags, filenames, research notes, spreadsheet exports, or any other list where each item is on its own line.

How to Remove Duplicate Lines Online

    1

    Paste your list

Add one item per line. You can paste names, emails, URLs, keywords, IDs, SKUs, titles, tags, or plain text.

    2

    Choose matching rules

Decide whether capitalization and extra spaces should matter, whether blank lines should be removed, and which occurrence to keep.

    3

    Copy or download

Run the deduper, review the counts, then copy the clean list or download it as a TXT file.

Choose How Duplicate Lines Are Removed

    Exact Match vs. Ignore Case

With Ignore case turned off, Apple and apple are treated as different lines. Turn it on when capitalization should not create a separate item.

    Trim Spaces Before Comparing

Accidental leading or trailing spaces can make visually identical values appear different. Turn on Trim whitespace to compare the cleaned values instead.

    Keep First or Last Occurrence

Choose Keep first to preserve the earliest matching line, or choose Keep last when the most recent occurrence should remain.

Preserve Order or Sort the Result

Keep the list in its original sequence, or sort the final unique lines A–Z or Z–A after duplicates are removed.

Tip: For advanced capitalization changes, use the Text Case Converter. For dedicated sorting controls, use the List Alphabetizer.

    Keyword lists

Deduplicate SEO keywords, search terms, product phrases, tags, topic ideas, or campaign research.

    SKUs, IDs, and exported data

Clean duplicate product codes, IDs, tracking references, usernames, filenames, or text copied from a spreadsheet.

    Example

Input: apple banana apple orange banana Result: apple banana orange

What Counts as a Duplicate Line?

A duplicate depends on the matching options you choose. With exact matching, two lines must be identical. With Ignore case, capitalization is ignored during comparison. With Trim whitespace, leading and trailing spaces are ignored while matching.

    apple / appleDuplicateDuplicateDuplicate
Apple / appleDifferentDuplicateDifferent unless case is also ignored
apple /  apple DifferentDifferent unless spaces also matchDuplicate
